Type Locality and Naming

The type section is located in Zhada country, Tibet and named by Liang (1991).


Lithology and Thickness

It is mainly composed of gray-dark gray micrite and bioclastic limestone. Thickness is 140 m.

Bivalve class rich integration layer, called Halobia comata assembly. The only genus of ammonoids is Parachyceras.
